3/4 letters submitted

Hello,

After having a discussion with a previous supervisor, he offered to write me a letter despite the rapidly approaching deadline. This is in addition to my required 3 letters, so he would be a 4th. I'm not 100% sure that he will be able to complete this and submit before the deadline. I am wondering: If 3 out of 4 of my letters are submitted, will my application be considered incomplete? Even though I have met the minimum # of 3 letters?

Your application would not be considered incomplete.
