I applied to:

-University of Washington: Molecular Medicine & Mechanisms of Disease (M3D/Pathology), Pharmacology, Molecular & Cellular Biology (MCB), and Immunology

-Yale BBS, Molecular Medicine, Pharmacology, and Physiology (MMPP) Track

-UT/MD Anderson GSBS

So far, I have scheduled interviews with UW M3D and pharmacology programs and received a rejection email from UW MCB. The notifications happened before this week, interviews scheduled for late Jan-early Feb.

Applicant profile:

-Small private US university, good biology program reputation; GPA: 3.8/4.0

-Strong LORs: 2 from college profs, 1 from current PI

-Multiple and various research experiences throughout and ~2 years post undergrad

What about you??

Hi, Thanks for starting this thread!

My application status is as my signature below.

As for applicant profile:

- Top tier biomedical university in Taiwan; GPA: 3.71/4.0 (Major: 3.90/4.0)

- Strong LoRs: 2 from my research mentors and 1 from a course instructor

- 3.5 years undergrad and ~1.5 years post-grad research experiences (including 3 months in a US research institute)

- One research paper (side project; 4th author) under revision

- Undergrad research grant from Gov.

- Several academic and poster awards (including one honored in an huge international meeting)

Also want to ask if any international applicant has received invites from Harvard MCO, Princeton Molecular Biology, and UCSD Biological Sciences; would you mind to share your profile and do you think these programs would send another wave of invites after New Year?

Hey, international applicant from Taiwan too:)

Haven't heard from a lot of programs, I also applied for Princeton (Mol Bio) and UCSD Bio.

I was wondering about your status now? Did you receive any invites or rejections, cause I haven't received either.

Am also waiting to hear back from UPenn CAMB (Cancer Bio)... but i'm definitely prepared for the worst.

I emailed Northwestern in the first week of January and was told that they had already sent out all their invites and that my application status would be updated by the end of the month.

NYU Sackler Cancer Bio (or Cell bio or something) - Rejected

UNC BBSP - Rejected

UW Madison Cancer Bio - Rejected

Northwestern DGP - Rejected

Hi all,

Have anybody heard from these programs?

University of Cincinnati, Cancer Biology

Ohio State University, MCDB

Arizona State university, MCDB

Rutgers University, Genetics and Cancer

SUNY at Buffalo, Cancer Science

Feels like I'm ghosted, not a single response and update on gradcafe yet. Fingers crossed ?
