Hello,

I applied to a bunch of Art History Phd programs (all over). If I haven't heard back from programs about interviews, does that essentially mean I should be expecting rejections?

I don't think so! I got accepted into a program this year without an interview, although I was invited to speak with my POI and other faculty.

I've heard from 3 out of 5 schools I applied to (one MA/Phd combined, the rest MA) and have heard back from 3 (two stateside, one international). Waiting to hear back from another US school and another international school.

I don't think so either. People posted they got interviews to one of my schools (I thought I was going to be rejected) and I just got an acceptance today without one. I think it depends on the school, however I'm not in Art History so it might be discipline specific.
