perfectamity Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Really struggling and hoping to gain some insight. I've been accepted to Washington University in St. Louis MSW program and I have been accepted to Case Western Reserve's MSSA/MNO dual degree program. As it stands both schools will leave me with about the same amount of debt. WashU said that they will be sending me need based scholarship soon but I don't know whether that will be $500 or $15,000. BUT it's one degree vs two degrees. How do I weight that? To make it more difficult, I like Washington University's program better but I like Cleveland more than St Louis and I like Case Western's campus more than WashU's. With WashU giving me more money do I just accept it or do I see if Case can match it?
perfectamity Posted February 28, 2020 Author Posted February 28, 2020 Any thoughts out there? Sadly, WashU only gave me an additional $4000.
Mandeville Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 I’m not in the field, but I’d reach out to employers in the field if you have those contacts or literally just blind reach out and see if they have any advice as to which is more attractive. I love CWRU’s campus as well, but without insight can’t say anything else!
