Since I am not from the States, I want to know if their medieval program is good? I have also got another offer from a higher ranked school (University of Washington), but their medieval program doesn't seem to be quite reputable (or is it just me?)...My struggle is really about ranking vs. fit. They all seem to have a very high opinion of the medieval studies program at Fordham. I haven't heard anything about UW, though, so it's hard to compare. If it were me, I'd go to the school at which you believe you can produce the best scholarship.
