English (Medieval) at Fordham University

I am a medievalist and have been offered a place to study English at Fordham. Since I am not from the States, I want to know if their medieval program is good?  I have also got another offer from a higher ranked school (University of Washington), but their medieval program doesn't seem to be quite reputable (or is it just me?)...My struggle is really about ranking vs. fit. Can anyone please share their insight? Thank you so much!

I'm not a medievalist, but I go to a program with lots of them. They all seem to have a very high opinion of the medieval studies program at Fordham. I haven't heard anything about UW, though, so it's hard to compare.

If it were me, I'd go to the school at which you believe you can produce the best scholarship. In terms of getting a job, prestigious publications will matter significantly more than the U.S. News ranking of the program.
