Does anyone know of any success stories with people who’ve applied for a GRE waiver at Kennedy School of Government and was successfully granted ? I applied to NYU and Columbia this year and was accepted to both but the price tag on them was very high so I declined. My company is willing to send me to Harvard for free with everything paid for (including room and board) for one year. The only issue is the GRE requirement. I work two jobs that are very demanding and preparing for this exam isn’t practical. I called admissions and they said I can apply for a waiver but they are usually granted to people with PhDs. He said though I can still try but what’s the likelihood? My company is begging me to take the scholarship because no one wants to live in MA for a year but me. I have two science degrees and took a number of quantitative heavy classes. I need advice here on what to say when I request the waiver. Again, I got into NYU Wagner and Columbia this year but the price tags were just ridiculous.

Did you also receive GRE waivers for NYU and SIPA?
