HonestlyConfused Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I ranked poorly but all of my feedback was positive. Unsure how to proceed ?
HD17 Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I dint get it. My feedback seemed appropriate. It was my first try. I got the FRQS this morning.
RA14 Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 Wondering if anyone minds helping me decipher the competition decision information. What exactly does the application rank within the committee refer to? Is there where you ranked within the total number of applicants in the competition? And with the percent rank within the committee, is lower or higher better?

With the percent rank, the lower the better.
Izak.IHP Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 3rd time applying Awards Committee B 4.43/4.9 65/290 22.41% The last 2 years i didnt even make it to the national competition. Everyone should keep trying!!
CG67 Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 First time applying, got it! But was funded through the priority announcement: infection and immunity - committee A. Barely made the cut off though. Thanks for all the support on this thread! And those of you who did not get funded should keep trying as I have been rejected from multiple other awards but just kept trying year after year!
immunity Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 2nd time applying. Awards Committee A 4.50/4.9 50/418 11.96%

They funded 104/418 for committee A and 73/290 for B. If you ranked within these numbers you were funded.

Yes, there should be tab under my applications that says "check application status". That is weird yours does not show that. Mine also said in peer review before the award results were posted. Yours says completed by applicant. Are you a direct applicant? Edited May 1, 2020 by CG67

My department (Pharm sci at UofT) had us submit the application package via email to our graduate assistant AND apply through ResearchNet. My department is never clear on how scholarship results are communicated to us so I'll just have to email them.

I think since results were released yesterday that would know by now. So sorry this is happening and I am hoping you have good luck with the results!!
