I can't get on. It keeps crashing :(

Finally got through. I was rated 3.9/4.9. 104 applications out of 418 were approved and mine was ranked 321 within the committee :(

Checked the comments from the committee reviews.. one summarized my academic record and the other was blank.

Wondering if anyone minds helping me decipher the competition decision information. What exactly does the application rank within the committee refer to? Is there where you ranked within the total number of applicants in the competition? And with the percent rank within the committee, is lower or higher better?

I believe all applicants are split into two committees. Your rank is within one of these committees. With the percent rank, the lower the better.

First time applying, got it! But was funded through the priority announcement: infection and immunity - committee A. Barely made the cut off though. Thanks for all the support on this thread! And those of you who did not get funded should keep trying as I have been rejected from multiple other awards but just kept trying year after year!

Yes, that's how you were ranked from the top. So the lower the ranking the higher. They funded 104/418 for committee A and 73/290 for B. If you ranked within these numbers you were funded.

Is this via ResearchNet? I can't find any option to see application status, and I haven't gotten any emails from CIHR/ResearchNet either. See below.

Yes, there should be tab under my applications that says "check application status". That is weird yours does not show that. Mine also said in peer review before the award results were posted. Yours says completed by applicant. Are you a direct applicant?

My department (Pharm sci at UofT) had us submit the application package via email to our graduate assistant AND apply through ResearchNet. My department is never clear on how scholarship results are communicated to us so I'll just have to email them.

Yes maybe they would know. I think since results were released yesterday that would know by now. So sorry this is happening and I am hoping you have good luck with the results!!
