Hey...

Pursing Phd had been a dream am nurturing since long. I am hoping to pursue PhD in public health from either Johns Hopkins or Harvard. Being an international student, who is supporting herself financially, spending the amount for standardized test like TOEFL and GRE and application for college is a huge financial load. Hence would like to know where my profile stands so that I can make informed decision of going ahead with application process.

Education :

Bachelors : Bachelors in Dental Sciences( BDS)

Masters: Masters in Public health from top university in India for public health

GPA : 3 ( though unsure about exact conversion from CGPA)

GRE - Yet to take

Research experience : Conducted 2 researches ; one in mental health as part of masters thesis and other took up research project during internship ( preparing the manuscript for publishing)

Relevant experience: 4 internships over the period of 2 years working at various levels of Health system: urban and rural govt health systems, rural NGO. Currently working as Consultant for ensuring quality of maternal and child health services in Govt hospitals.

Would be really grateful for a honest evaluation and areas of profile improvement.

Thanks in advance
