I applied for graphic design at Otis and CSUN as well, hoping to bridge the gap between my interest in coding and my graphic design background. MDP is definitely my top choice though! Did you decide to hold off for personal reasons, or were there admissions/financial aid elements at play? Im still deciding on if I’ll go this year or reapply another year for $$ reasons. You might be able to get more flexibility later on by focusing on work now, so that seems like a win-win! I have some UX experience and I’d like to dive more into research/designing more experimental interactive media rather than the standard website design. I don't have a background in design, only an interest in art and design since I was a kid. I really don't know where I want to take my career, and I was hoping to explore that in grad school, but I feel like right now my job can offer the same.
