Jasmine Ng Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 Hi, Due to the pandemic, I wonder does the school will wave GRE? Thanks
bstat95 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 Some schools might waive GRE but I think most schools won't. It's better for you to check the program website or contact the program. People here aren't able to give you the right answer.
Stat Assistant Professor Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 I think ETS is giving people the option to take the general GRE at home instead of in testing centers. I believe Stanford has waived the math subject test requirement, though, since that is only offered as a written exam. But then again, Stanford is the only program I'm aware of that required the math subject GRE before this year (some programs recommended it, but I've heard of people getting admitted to top programs without it).
statsnow Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 I am familiar with a couple of schools waiving the general GRE. You should check with the individual programs
MathStat Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 i've seen many schools waived their Math gre requirement on their website.
