Should the transcript I'm uploading have the name of the school I'm applying to?

Hi everyone!

I'm about to order a transcript to use for upcoming grad school applications - it will be emailed to me as a PDF and then I will upload it when applying.

On my university's transcript order page, I can choose who the transcript lists as the recipient. Right now, it's set to my name but I was wondering if schools usually require you to address the initial uploaded transcript to that specific school?

Thanks!

That really depends. I know some schools are really strict about this and require your transcript to be in physical copy, signed and sealed even.

My advice would be to ask the Admissions team of the schools you are applying to just to be sure!
