There probably aren't very many applicants (it's quite a specialised course) but presumably they reject some people... Who do you know here? I'll say hi Is it that they accept 100 external applicants, or is it that 100 external applicants come to Cambridge? If the latter, then I imagine they must accept many, many more than 100 applicants in order to fill 100 slots, considering that there seems to be very little funding available.
