AMC1230 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 HOW is everyone making money once they start clinical? I want to avoid taking out excess loans since where I am attending is already very expensive. Any tips? Hannah K 1
Cece93 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 At my school we start clinicals our first semester. I personally haven’t been working yet but I know some girls are. They mostly work at the school (which i am going to try and do next semester but there’s like no on campus jobs), restaurants, teaching English online, and in special needs homes. Clinical hours can be so up in the air but I’m hoping maybe I’ll be able to work online at a preschool or something that’s not too many hours.
AlwaysaFalcon Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Personally I worked on campus through federal work study during clinical. I worked about 15 hours a week.
SpeechGal1234 Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Working at the school is the best because they are aware of your schedule & the difficulties of graduate school. You can also look for nanny or tutoring jobs! Reading tutors get paid surprisingly well and you can often work with the family to make a good schedule.
