ianstpbf Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 I was accepted into a Masters program I applied to for Spring 2021 (Program A). However, I am still waiting on two more admissions decisions... those two being my top 2. Program A is asking me to submit a confirmation form (no enrollment deposit as of yet) stating, "I hereby acknowledge my admission and intention to enroll. Further, I understand that by signing this document I am confirming my attendance and commitment to the program." If I don't by tomorrow, they will be offering my spot to someone else on the waitlist. I'm just afraid that if God forbid, I don't get into those top 2... I'll lose my chance at Program A too (where I would've gone if that were the case). Would I get in any sort of trouble if I submit this form, but end up changing my mind if I hopefully get into one of my top 2 programs that are still pending? Please advise! As soon as I get the last two decisions, I definitely plan on letting Program A know.
Outer Heaven Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 You can backout most offers but you may lose your deposit if they ask for one.
