foreign enrolled (us in london)

I've accepted an unfunded spot at the Courtauld. It's a subject I'm very into and am psyched about it. I'm not psyched about finding money. I mean, even though it's a yr, it's a lot of loan debt to go into. I have had no success with federal funding, although some foreign enrolled students can get federal loans, apparently the courtauld does not apply? am i wrong? has anyone had success with this? i mean, i guess bite the bullet. but christ, i dont have any grand delusions about what an art historian's income looks like, at best.
