Perasymanzanas Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I had to email the admissions director and was told that decisions on funding would be sent later this month. I already got into a fully funded PhD program. I have read that this happens sometimes when they don't plan on funding the program. Is that right? Anyone else in this position?

I'm in that position as well! I'm not sure what it means for my particular school but it makes me anxious. I am waitlisted at a fully funded program, and accepted at the one that hasn't announced funding yet. There is a financial aid webinar but it isn't until the end of this month. Anxiously hoping for good news from either school! Perasymanzanas 1

Yes, I literally could not enjoy my acceptance letter from the school that didn't mention funding because I had so much anxiety about not being able to afford it. It almost seemed worse than getting rejected? I will send you all the best energy!! Hopefully they come through for you!
