Thank you! I’m quite surprised because I lack in certain parts but I truly feel like my letter of intent helped me.

I graduated in 2021 and have been working as a Public Health Nurse for the vaccinations team. Prior to that in school, I had clinical placements In the ICU, community health, Public health, acute med etc. i think being in Public Health and ICU during the pandemic may have helped me? (Those experiences were mainly discussed in my LOI). I also have been a nursing statistics teaching assistant for the last 3 years and a nursing peer tutor for 2 years. Throughout my undergrad I joined maybe 3-4 clubs, which in 2 I was an exec member.

because my undergrad was in nursing it’s kind of complicated for me to fully know my gpa due to the pass/fail courses. But it was definitely above 3.9. But otherwise I have no research experience or a publication (which really scared me) so I just believe if there are some weak points in your application you can definitely get in by highlighting the strengths in your app.
I have not heard about anyone else getting in. Just the under review emails.
I asked them to extend their deadline as it was March 28. But their deposit was $0

if I am missing anything let me know, and I wish you all the best :)

Your education and work background are amazing. Congratulations ?

Also, for those who heard back from UofT did you get an email or an official letter? And did you see any changes on the application portal? Thank you!! ❤️

You get an email saying there’s an update to your application. Then you go to the application status page and there’s a link that pops up. when you click the link, it is your official PDF offer letter. good luck!!

*EDIT: Oops sorry didn't realize this was already answered!

Both - I got an email saying an update has been made to my application portal, so then I logged in and the offer letter was there and available to download.

I emailed uOttawa and this was their response- "The Admission Committee usually has decisions by mid-May. However, this is subject to change."
