Hi all, for everyone going to U of T, Do you get some kind of alert or something once they've seen your official transcripts, signed acceptance and deposit? (btw let me know if there something else I'm missing on this checklist) thank you!

I also just received acceptance to Guelph! Will likely be declining the offer, but I do highly recommend U of G.

Congrats! I also got accepted.

Just wondering why you will be declining? I'm struggling to find people's personal experiences of the program on forums and reddit :(

I will likely be declining because I am finishing my undergrad at Guelph right now and ready for a change of scenery. The university and city have been amazing though, I really enjoyed it here! I agree, it is hard to find personal experience about the program online.

@alittlestitious99 I agree there isn't much on Reddit, although I was able to PM a few older alumni about their experiences and where they are now for the programs I applied to. It's also well worth looking up some alumni on LinkedIn if you can! I've reached out to a few who have been receptive to short conversations about their experience and any general questions I have. You could also try emailing the program emails to put you in touch with current students or alumni? Although I'm not sure how effective that is, since I haven't tried it.

Good idea! I will be searching on Linkedin and possibly emailing program coordinators.  Thank you for the advice!

Does anyone know how many students are accepted to UofT Health Promo? I applied close to the deadline and I'm worried I might not get accepted since someone mentioned the offers will be sent out on a rolling basis..

When i emailed them to ask the same question, this is the response I got: ". We have received 415 eligible applications for about 40 places."

For 2020 intake they had 45 seats. Personally I think it's unlikely that this number has changed. Also just because they send out acceptances on a rolling basis doesn't mean they REVIEW on a rolling basis - in fact I would be really surprised if they sent out offers of admission before reviewing all the applications they receive before the deadline. For example, I applied to MPH Epi 2 days before the deadline and got an offer earlier this week with until April 12 (2 weeks) to decide. What's more likely that they do is that they'll review all apps, then send out say 45 offers in the first wave, then see how many acceptances they get after the 2 week deadline. Then they'll send out a second wave to try and fill the class based on how many accepted/declined in the first wave. I think that's what they mean by rolling basis.  So I don't think when you submitted your app matters at all as long as it was before the deadline.

Any updates from Brock other than the few people who were accepted on Tuesday (I think)? Portal still says under review.

Mine still says under review as well. Not sure what to think at this point.

this is what they said when i emailed them earlier this week "Admission results have started to be posted to application portals. Please monitor your portal this week and next week for updates. It will indicate if a student has been accepted, waitlisted or rejected. Only those applicants who are accepted will also receive an email from the program."

I got into SFU a couple weeks ago, but UVic is not coming out until mid April I think someone said on here. However, I have high hopes (fingers crossed) for Uvic. However I know hosuing and everything is crazy and I really am torn between the two so just trying to figure some things out.

Hey. Congrats on your acceptance to SFU! I would choose SFU if I were you because it is CEPH accredited (recognized in the US) and on-campus. It is located in Vancouver so it's more accessible. UVIC is online only so if you want to work while studying then it's a good choice.

Just my two cents

Thank you! Do you know if the MPH for SFU is on the Vancouver, Surrey, or Burnaby campus? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I think it's on the Burnaby campus according to the MPH program package

Hey I am doing undegrad at Guelph and will be declining guelph as well. Mind sharing where you are heading to ? For others, Guelph is such an amazing school with a tight-knit community with amazing food options. In addition, its MPH program is part of Vet school. I highly recommend Guelph
