Daisy_2020 Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Dear all, I have a bachelor degree in law and want to study educational psychology or child psychology or developmental psychology(either taught or research program) in order to work in the field of child development. Could you please advise me how to earn credits for these required courses without following a complete bachelor program ? Is there anything I can do in order to qualify myself for admission to psy graduate programs in Europe or US? I completed a few courses on Coursera but can't earn credits via it. Some of the most common prerequisites needed for admission to psychology graduate programs include: Statistics Experimental methods Abnormal psychology Child development Personality psychology
PsyDuck90 Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 You can take them at a community college (not sure if they are a thing where you are), but in the US those credits tend to be pretty cheap. Also, look up the specific master's programs you are interested in and make sure what courses you actually need for those programs. SocDevMum 1
Daisy_2020 Posted August 5, 2021 Author Posted August 5, 2021 Thanks, but not in the US. Oops, in my country credits at open university or similar will be accredited by EU universities as long as the degree is obtained. It takes around 2 years to complete a degree, so I am seeking ways to make credits required in one year.
