Hello! Now that the application period has begun, just thought it'd be nice to chat and share in this thread:)

I'm applying to U of T and McGill's Master in Information Studies, and Archival Studies at UBC. Got everything submitted in October and just waiting for the final result right now lol (a few months to go...

I actually applied to these three uni last year and eventually got admitted by McGill but I didn't take the offer. Thought it might worth another try hahaha

There were much more applicants last year than what the schools previously got. It's probably still early but hopefully there're others out there lol

Hey!! Have you got the decisions? I applied to MI at UofT back in October and I’m still waiting to hear back from them. 
 

ps are you also applying from HK? (Hint: people are cruel?)

I got into Mcgill but I'm waiting to hear back from a few other Canadian schools. I'm a little nervous now cause the acceptance deadline is approaching and I don't really think I'll have any admissions results by then just looking at the past times it took for people to get admitted.

wowwww yesss ✈️?!!! sadly I'm also still waiting to hear back from the Unis lol I read that U of T's MI has started giving out admissions last week! Finger-crossed hahaha

Congrats!! I'm starting to feel a bit nervous right now lol and kinda regret not accepting the admission from McGill last year :')... U of T has started giving out admissions last week though. Maybe you'll get other offers really soon!?

Hey guys! Same here another international student waiting to hear back from UofT Ischool...
zooissad would you mind sharing a bit of your academic background? 
I am so so nervous right now~~~?
I submitted my application on Jan 6th and the application status stayed as submitted for a month...
I really want to send email to ask about their progress. But I don't want to come off as crazy?

Hi! I did history/humanities in undergrad and with just a so-so gpa? So I'm going for archives/record management stream. My current job is kinda related to that to. I just got admitted into McGill's MISt today and hopefully we'll hear some good news from U of T soon! It's been 3 months since I submitted my applications?

Btw did you apply to other schools? If you get admitted by another school, you may consider telling u of t you got other offers and wanna know the results asap. It worked for some applicants last year:)
