HelloGrad0104 Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Hello! I applied to the MPP and I haven't heard anything yet. I hope they let us know soon! I've heard back from all the schools I've applied to (admitted to all so far!) so I am just waiting for UCLA.
dawnbirth Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 I applied to MPP and got accepted on March 8th.
Quincy_Taft_Coolidge Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Did they receive an abnormally large amount of applicants this cycle? I have not received a decision yet.
policyapp2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Rejected. Honestly weird considering my other decisions but I’m happy with my other choices ?♀️

I believe so. I got accepted yesterday, and the acceptance letter stated that "This was an especially competitive year and we had to be even more selective than usual in our admissions decisions." Just wait until next week, if still no news, it doesn't hurt to send the admission committee an email and ask about your application.
Alexissmart Posted March 12, 2022 Author Posted March 12, 2022 Rejected, but admitted to USC, McCourt, and UCI.
HelloGrad0104 Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 I was rejected ?. I got into UChicago, Duke, UMich, UCSD, and Georgetown. A little disappointed since I'm from LA so it was really the most convenient for me in terms of location.

navy125 Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 They send it out on a Friday which makes my weekend either worse or great
navy125 Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 To the People who havent heard back yet: Hello, Thank you for reaching out to the Master of Public Policy program at UCLA. This year we received a larger number of applications than expected and as a result, it is taking more time than anticipated to release all application decisions. That being said, please note that any outstanding application decisions will be released the week of 3/14/22. Recently submitted applications will be reviewed towards the end of March/beginning of April. Again, I appreciate your patience as I work through this busy time to address your questions an concerns. Wishing everyone the very best and I'll be in touch next week!
