Grades for Masters program released in December - do I update the admissions for PhD w increased GPA?

I am in my second year of a Masters program and have started applying to PhD programs. I have a solid GPA 3.72 but it will increase this term and next term. Should I notify the admissions committees of my improved GPA once grades are released in December? If so, what is the best approach to doing so?
