PhdWannaBeMe
Hi there, Does anyone have advice on how to best prepare for the interview? Also, how can you find out what percent of interviews actually land a spot?
0 statsguy69
I think this all depends on the structure of the program (field of study, location to some extent). Could share my process if given more info One thing to look into might be whether the university or program posts their admissions data somewhere on their website. 0 Hugh_
It really depends what programs you are applying to and where. If you are applying to a PhD program in Europe, you can expect a real formal interview with a few faculty members. In the US, it can vary depending on the program. In any case, these interviews should not be taken lightly. If you get an interview, you should definitely celebrate because this means that the department is interested in you. But you should practice, practice, practice! statsguy69
