dramaturginagony Posted February 25, 2023 Share Posted February 25, 2023 To my knowledge, there are only 5 MFA Dramaturgy programs in the United States: Yale Columbia UMass Amherst UIowa Indiana U Bloomington (this uni's application doesn't close until 1 April) What schools have you all heard from already? Haven't heard anything from Columbia, UMass, or UIowa. Did however get an email by accident from Indiana today where they were validating my degrees (they're foreign), but it was meant for internal use only. dgay2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Share Posted March 8, 2023 Yale timeline October 28 - In-person Visitor Day November 11 - Virtual Open House December 10 - Virtual Open House January 2 - Applications Due Late January/Early February - Phone calls with interview requests February 21-22 - In-person interviews at Yale - with entire Dramaturgy faculty 14 invited to interview. 5 typically admitted. (6 admitted this year) In the days following the interview, admits are personally contacted by the department chair February 27 - Waitlist emailed As of March 8, rejects have not been contacted.
