DireBoss90
I plan on applying to the MC/MPA program at Harvard Kennedy soon but don’t know how soon I should apply as the minimum for the program is 7 years of working experience and I’ll have 8 this fall. Without going into too much detail, I have a double science degree and went to a top state school in under grad (3.8 GPA). Currently work for a large city agency and I’m also in the national guard as a captain. My work involves a lot of research and analytical work and I’ll be promoted relatively quickly in my full time position. I know this isn’t a lot of info but should I wait a couple more years to build up more work experience? The average amount of full time work experience they accept is 12 years but I’m in my 30s and would like to get my masters soon. My organization offers a scholarship which would make tuition zero for me so that’s one of many reasons why I’m aiming for Harvard.

BTF
Your best bet is to look up alumni of this program/programs on LinkedIn and ask them.
DireBoss90
I applied to NYU Wagner and Columbia’s SIPA MPA programs and was admitted no problem. Is the Harvard program on a similar competitive level ?
