Hi anyone applied to UC Davis?

Anyone got admits?

I have applied foe MS in Mechanical Engg.

I have applied to PhD in Computer Science for fall 08. But I have not heard anything from them.

I applied and was accepted to the master's program in Agricultural Economics. I'm visiting next week to decide if Davis is the place for me. Their acceptance was pretty late -- around March 21st.

I was accepted to the UC-Davis Ph.D. program in English. I will also be visiting next week. You should look at the virtual tour on their website--it looks like a beautiful campus. The building are all pretty modern, but it is that stylish type of modern architecture. Not those horrible buildings built in the 50s.

Don't worry. There are plenty of those 50s style buildings to boot. UC Davis is where us Californians take our pets when our vets can't figure out what is wrong with them. Of course, they couldn't figure out our problem either, but it was a couple of nice days off from work.

Davis has a great old downtown area just off campus. Small townish, yet hip. And you are just up the freeway from the Bay Area (not to mention Sac to the east).

I didn't get in this year. Maybe next year. Good luck to you all!

I received acceptance from UC Davis. But no word of funding. Rather they'd advised me to apply FAFSA.
