Just wondering if anyone else on GradCafe applied to University if Texas at Austin's Higher Education Administration MA program. I'm wondering if folks might know how big the cohort usually is, how likely funding is, etc. I don't know a single other person "in real life" who's applying.

I just discovered that UT Austin has admissions stats on their Status Check site....

The process of finding it is kinda random...

Login to your status check, scroll all the way down to "Admissions" and click to select. Once you've got the new page loaded, click on "My Grad School." From here, you can access stats from as recently as 2009. From what I can tell, 209 people applied to your program in 2009, and 109 were admitted. 81 ended up attending. I didn't check to see if there's anything on funding, but I hope this helps!

I have been searching all over the web to see when UT Austin generally posts their admissions decisions, so let me know if you've got anything on that. I'm assuming it's April 15th since I can't find it anywhere...

For anyone else out there: I emailed the department and they let me know that they do not send out any kind of confirmation email. Just check your status online, and if all of your materials are in you can assume that you're being reviewed now or very soon!

Thank U! really helpful info~~ I applied for their college of education's Phd program in Curriculum and instruction. No reply yet. The status just shows that "We've received your application and are currently reviewing it.
