Question about interview for international applicants

Can anyone tell me how often do universities (esp for the follow schools: stanford, princeton, harvard, brown, duke, virginia, washington u, uc davis, nyu) offer interview for international applicants. I can imagine it would not be a common case for an on site interview considering the cost, but beside that, do they arrange for phone interview, or skype interview? and suppose I am not invited for any interview, does it mean that I am screwed =.=? I am so worried now seeing everyone reporting interview in gradcafe while getting nothing for myself...

I think it doesn't matter if you have not received any invitations yet. According to my information, some I/O psychology programs just start reviewing the applicants packages. What programs did u apply?

I am also an international student and we are from the same country. I heard that international students are invited to have skype interviews in most cases if interviews are necessary. But I prefer going to U.S. if allowed. I think face-to-face chat would be more effective and efficient.

They will interview you over the phone/Skype.

I'm an international applicant too and was interviewed via skype. They did extend an offer to go down for the visiting weekend but I don't know if they will subsidize my visit yet. All these funding cuts not doing us international students any good...

Anyway, it's still January only so lets all remain hopeful.
