Raccoon_researcher Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Hi all! Still undecided on whether to apply for Fall 2025 or wait for next year, so I'm just trying to gauge my chances and would appreciate your help! I have an MSc and 2 years of experience in the neuropsychiatry sector within the pharma industry, and I'm a bit unsure about whether a PhD in Neuroscience would be feasible for me if I want to keep both the industry and academia doors open. My main concern is that I have very little lab experience, and I have not used many neuroimaging techniques in practice. However, this year I was very lucky to publish my (non-lab based) research on a >100 impact factor medical journal - could this compensate for my lack of lab experience? Or should I try to get more lab experience before applying?
