Hi all! Still undecided on whether to apply for Fall 2025 or wait for next year, so I'm just trying to gauge my chances and would appreciate your help! I have an MSc and 2 years of experience in the neuropsychiatry sector within the pharma industry, and I'm a bit unsure about whether a PhD in Neuroscience would be feasible for me if I want to keep both the industry and academia doors open. My main concern is that I have very little lab experience, and I have not used many neuroimaging techniques in practice. However, this year I was very lucky to publish my (non-lab based) research on a >100 impact factor medical journal - could this compensate for my lack of lab experience? Or should I try to get more lab experience before applying?
