Current DrPH researcher here about to finish my dissertation from Hopkins by spring 2025. I applied to 5 DrPH programs twice and got rejected from every single one…but 1. Glad to answer any questions.

Hey! I am so glad you posted!!! I was rejected in 4 of 4 of the programs my first time around. This will be my second go.  I was gutted, truly. But it was so clarifying, too. Congratulations on sticking with it and showing us that resilience pays off.

I applied at GWU and so far I as of October 15th 2024 I had my interview.  Now I am waiting on the final decision.

Same! Had my interview around that time, too. Also waiting for the final decision. Thankfully, it will be relatively soon. Good luck!!!! 

How did you think/feel the interview went?

I think it was easy and mostly questions that aligned with the personal statement questions.  Still anxious though to find out the results.

I missed the early decision deadline by about a week. But I had an interview on Oct. 30 and just found out this morning that I got in!!

So I just got an email today from GW saying they sent out acceptance letters in error. So I guess I didn't get in after all 🫠

Hey y'all - I am also applying to DrPh programs this year! I applied for early admission to GW as well and they told me 2nd week in December for decisions. I applied to 5 programs, I have heard back and got into 1 so fingers crossed for you all.

Hey everyone! Has anyone heard anything yet? I'm applying to two more schools (Tulane and Claremont) because I'm getting so stressed on not hearing back. I realize it also takes a while to hear back but patience is unfortunately not something I possess much of 😂

Hi everyone, 

Applied to John Hopkins under the DrPH HE&SJ concentration. First time applying. Does anyone know how strict the Bloomberg Application is on getting materials turned in by Dec 1? One of my LORs came in at 11:59 PST not EST on Dec 1 and one of my community college transcripts (classes I took while in highschool) got delayed due to staffing shortages. I emailed the program person to notify them of the delayed transcript but literally did not find out about the late LOR until today... any insights woul dbe much appreciated as my anxiety is through the roof.

I applied in October, and GWU said that we should hear back this week or next for folks who applied before the end of October.

I applied to GW (and three others) in August 2024. GW interview on October 18th, they told me right before/after thanksgiving for a decision. The first week in December by the latest. I have not heard anything yet. Good luck everyone!

Not much of an update, but I got an email from Tulane today saying they'll start reviewing applications in applications in February and should start making admissions decisions in March. Wishing everyone luck and that we'll all hear back soon!!
