Oh Berkeley...

So, I received an email today telling me that I was accepted into Berkeley's MPH Biostat/Epid program.

Ok... I applied to the MA Biostat program, what's going on here? There's no comment about being rejected from the MA program, its acting like I just applied to MPH! Well turns out that SOPHAS decided I applied to the MPH program. The MPH program director talked to the MA program director and found that they were almost done with admissions and the MA director recommended that I just accept and transfer to the MA program.

Ok, fine.

Then I find out that MA students all got funding while MPH students didn't get funding at all in their first year. I really want to go to Berkeley, I really want to not be in huge amounts of debt. What should I do?

I applied to the MA program as well and still no word *tear* I'd find out if you'd still be eligible for funding...
