Hey all!

Anyone else here attending Mississippi State University. I'm in the fourth semester pursing another degree in applied physics. So far, so good!

I'm not attending their but I did apply to their cognitive science program. I've never been to Mississippi and I have no idea what it would be like to live down there. What's the school like?

The MSU campus is pleasant: a decent amount of green spaces that are very well manicured, a barne's and noble, a fantastic sports center, and a football stadium with a 55K plus capacity. Starkville is a pretty small city. It's not quite my cup of tea as I grew up in a city of several million, but the fact that there's little to do is conducive to focusing on graduate work. Overall, I would say there's a good atmosphere. Not my number one choice, but I'm happy here.

Where do you attend?

Thanks for the information! It does seem like a nice school but I don't think I'm going to take their offer because of funding issues, fit, and such.

My school is so small I don't like telling :)
