Quid Posted February 13, 2011 Author Posted February 13, 2011 I'm not attending their but I did apply to their cognitive science program. I've never been to Mississippi and I have no idea what it would be like to live down there. What's the school like? The MSU campus is pleasant: a decent amount of green spaces that are very well manicured, a barne's and noble, a fantastic sports center, and a football stadium with a 55K plus capacity. Starkville is a pretty small city. It's not quite my cup of tea as I grew up in a city of several million, but the fact that there's little to do is conducive to focusing on graduate work. Overall, I would say there's a good atmosphere. Not my number one choice, but I'm happy here. Where do you attend?
amandacarol1215 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I'm 99% sure I will be at Mississippi State University in the Fall! What can you tell me about the area and places to live?

It does seem like a nice school but I don't think I'm going to take their offer because of funding issues, fit, and such. My school is so small I don't like telling
amandacarol1215 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Is anyone else here going to MSU? I'm starting in August and I'm so excited!
