paigeski Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I filled out FAFSA and I wasn't expecting any grants, but my gripe is that I worked in 2010, but I am quitting my job to go back to graduate school, so the money I made last year won't be there when I'm in graduate school. Very frustrating. Hopefully, I'll get some good funding (if I get in!). Anyone have any other ideas for funding, etc? I guess there's always loans... Sorry, just needed to vent.
anthropologygeek Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Your get loans to cover cost of attending but that's all for grad school whether you worked or not
tyranosarahrex Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 You can notify your school that you are quitting your job and they could offer more. Not saying that they do, but they could.
rising_star Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 You aren't going to get grants for grad school anyway. The only reason the EFC matters is for determining whether or not you're eligible for Perkins loans. You'll be eligible for Stafford loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) either way.
