I found out today that I was waitlisted at one of my top schools and that I should find out if I got in by May 21st (more waiting, yay!!) I was thinking about writing them a letter or even make an appointment to speak to one of the admissions rep. to show my interest. However, I live in California and the school is in DC. Not sure if it's worth it to spend that money traveling at this point!! Since I'm planning to go part-time to that school and hopefully have my job transferred to my company's DC location, I would need to know asap.

Any advice on what to do to stand out in the waitlisting pool? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Probably a waste of money, unless people move off the waitlist often in your field...
