pisces81 Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I found out today that I was waitlisted at one of my top schools and that I should find out if I got in by May 21st (more waiting, yay!!) I was thinking about writing them a letter or even make an appointment to speak to one of the admissions rep. to show my interest. However, I live in California and the school is in DC. Not sure if it's worth it to spend that money traveling at this point!! Since I'm planning to go part-time to that school and hopefully have my job transferred to my company's DC location, I would need to know asap. Any advice on what to do to stand out in the waitlisting pool? Any suggestions? Thanks.
PhD or Bust Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Probably a waste of money, unless people move off the waitlist often in your field...
