Someone posted an acceptance in February. I just asked the coordinator, she said: " Our department had a large number of applications and it took some time to read all of them. Decisions will be mailed to applicants at the end of this week, so you should hear shortly." Does this mean they are not going to send e-mails? Only via postal service?

Anyone here who also applied to this program?

I didn't apply to that specific program but I did apply to another program at Brandeis and was accepted via post. I'm not sure if the method of notification varies from department to department but it might be a university-wide thing to send out letters via post.. Hope this helps! :)

Best of luck to you!

That sounds very similar to what happened to me when I applied to Brandeis. I was denied acceptance to the Ph.D. and accepted into the Masters program (I already had a Masters, so I didn't take the offer) with limited funding.

I am a bit confused. Have people heard from Brandeis yet (for Fall 2012). I applied to the NEJS PhD, but I haven't heard a word yet. I emailed the coordinator last Monday, but she has not responded.
