AlmostMar15 Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Hi Everyone, Who is still waiting on Stanford and UC Berkeley for notice on admissions? I applied for PhD in environmental at both, already have my BS in CEE from Cornell and Master's in CEE from MIT. The waiting is killing me!
yenachem Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I'm still waiting for UC Berkeley for M.S. in Environmental Eng. The website said by April 1 we should be sent a decision. I saw a few people post on the results page all varying in dates of notification. I am not feeling so good waiting this long.

I agree -- it looks from past years that if you don't hear from Berkeley by mid-March, it's a no. Did you apply to Stanford? Any word from them?
yenachem Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Crazy....I got into UCB just right now by e-mail....I am in awe since my gpa is not that high and I don't have any stellar research experience.

Congratulations! That is very exciting. I actually just got rejected from Stanford by email. Hah, well not surprised. Naturally a little bummed out. Hoping I'll hear from Berkeley today too, looks like a few people have posted that they heard from Berkeley today also.
usf2242 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Congratulations to you all. Anyone applying on the East Coast? I know Georgia Tech has sent out some acceptances, but has anyone heard about funding from them yet?
