Need info On IU Bloomington Jobs/Funding

Hi everyone,

I was recently accepted to IUB and I wasn't offered funding. I was told that I can apply for an assistantship my second and third years. I was wondering if anyone that is a current student faced this and how you got around it. I saw on the website (weeks ago and can no longer find it) that you can get jobs on campus that allow you to get instate tuition. Does anyone have any experience with this? How hard is it to get these jobs. I also read that you can never become a resident (for tution purposes) if you are coming to Indiana to pursue higher education. I don't want to take out loans because I have already taken out so much for undergrad and my masters. Any information would be helpful.
