nplo1sewon Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 could anyone recommend really good professors in probability related to finance? it doesn't have to be great schools or anything, just wondering about the great professors who have been good mentors for their students, and also have broad perspective in mathematical finance.
hartshorneBoy Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 The first place that comes to mind is NYU. I would look at their profs, look at their research papers, and then diversify your choices by looking at who they cite.
bgk Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Look at some school with good OR departments, there usually some good probabilists to be found too.
