He's taking classes at UT to boost his GPA and build some relationships w/ professors (has his BA from UT in History); told one of his profs he had been rejected and the prof was shocked. Said he'd reach out to the dean at LBJ who is a friend. Dean said he'd put him on the waitlist and monitor his app, whatever that means. I don't think his status was ever changed online, and I couldn't convince him of the importance of checking w/ the admissions office (am I a pain in the a*** mother or what?). What sort of communication did you get about being waitlisted? Damis 1
