I'm currently looking into M.A. or M.S. programs for school counseling or human resource management but I am not sure which field to dedicate myself or my applications to. I've researched both fields and I'm interested in both types of careers, but I'd love to learn more 'insider' information about both jobs.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to discern what career path to take next?

Very true, and I've considered that too! I'm just curious what work environments are like in these two careers. I've been leaning more towards human resources though. The projected employment for the next few years in HR seems promising, as well as the programs.

Here's one program I'm interested in now:

HRIR Department at the University of Minnesota
