qinchen Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) Any advice will be useful to me. I got into U Miami School of Communication and UGA Grady School,both are master programs. U Miami program is about Multimedia Journalism, the program has just started for 2 years, but the Director is a promising professional from UNC.I like the program a lot. They also gave me a little stipends and a 9 credit waiver. But the overall expenses is still really high. UGA has a more traditional program, focus more on academic area, but the Director told me they would open a brand new hands on professional program next year, I can attend those classes if i want. UGA hasn't offer any scholarship to me, but the expenses still cheaper than Miami. So, this is really a money issue and some uncertainty about the both programs. Also, i'm an international student, so i'm not quite sure about the reputation of this two schools in States. Please help me with some advices. Thank you !
