What about RNA world hypothesis?

You mean the hypothesis that the world is actually made of one strand of hyper-RNA floating around in 11-dimensional space so as to appear delocalized in our simple 3-dimensional perception of the world? Yes that is an interesting hypothesis indeed...

I want to tackle this with theoretical chemistry, and I am currently on the "anti" side.

What is the current evidence against it? I don't know much about the hypothesis actually, except maybe that people realized RNA has many interesting catalytic functions and think it could have originally served the role proteins do now.

Self-splicing introns...man, that is insane.
