idk123 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 only 950 awards though... doesn't that seem low????
margot Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Does anyone who cant see the list want me to check for them?
Neurone Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Well, thank god bars are open till 4 am in new york city.... Since there's only 950, maybe this isn't the final list.
Chem09 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 62 chemistry awards. Is that at all consistent with previous years?
MrGradStudent Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I did not win. I'm not going to drink over this though. It's not good for health.
sterculus Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 No dice here...wtf only 950? That's basically the same award percentage as last year. So much for the stimulus money.
Neurone Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Man.... I know this is likely not the final list and I have no idea if I made honorable mention... But I am effing bummed out.
margot Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 only 950 awards though... doesn't that seem low???? Yeah, at least for my discipline there were only 18 awards listed, while in 2008 there were 25 given out. Now maybe the candidates just weren't as good this year, or there was less of them, but my guess is that they are still finalizing the awardees from the pool of Honorable Mentions... (given that HM isn't up yet)
cosby49 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 i feel like it is more likely that they would post all winners at once.

MrGradStudent Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 so if you haven't been notified, you would at the very least be HM? I'd take an HM!

It seems like this means if we aren't on the list and haven't received a rejection letter we are either HM or may get an award -- but if no one has gotten a rejection letter yet then I guess we dont know...?
