I'm sick of waiting

I'm going to email every graduate coodinator today although I have already contacted them several times.

one reply from last week (May 2nd) was: a decision was made on your applicantion, within few days u'll see it online. [NOTHING YET]

another reply from another university (May 4th) was: your file will be reviewed shortly. [NOTHING YET].

and another reply from yet another university (May 5th) was: I'll check today and get back to you. [NOTHING YET]

That is frustrating.

I was surprised at how much burden was put on my (the applicants) shoulders during the application process. It seems like sometimes the people in admissions don't realize how stressful this is. They had a ton of conflicting information on their website about application materials, and it was somehow my job to call all the different offices and get it straightened out. Apparently you have to do all the leg work to find out your decision too - they told me I had an assistantship, and would find out in a few days what it was. 2 weeks later, I finally got the grad in the office to tell me which one it was.

I can sympathize. Hopefully you will find out soon!

ya that the right word...."sick" of waiting... .i have decided that i will not mail any grad school now (already sent them many mails inquiring about the results). coz they send answers which dont help me....infact increase my anxiety even more. so let them take there own sweet time.

my behavior has changed so much, i remain annoyed and quiet 24X7.dunno when will i be myself again.....my girlfriend thinks that i need medication...(not sure about that, though)

it seems to me now that the future is dark.

I enabled the assistant graduate coordinator for one of my schools and he said that he would have a decision mailed to me right away. This was last Friday. The thing thats been bugging me is the fact that I submitted my app in Jan and no one has sent me a thing and all of a sudden there's a decision they can mail?

When I finally reach my breaking point, I'm gonna just walk in there and ask. The school I'm trying for is 15 minutes away. And I'm gonna hold my breath until they. Let. Me. In!!!!!!!!!1!

Im sick of waiting too!!! I talked to one of the heads of the department in February and after my interview he said, I don't see why you wouldn't be accepted. I sent all of my paperwork to the school at the end of April and havent heard a peep since. Last week I wrote a follow-up email saying, "Just checking to make sure you have received my application" and STILL no response!! Is making me reconsider whether I want to go to this school or not

try calling ... I called twice and i sent 5 emails before finally receiving a decision!
