LukeZ Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Hello, please excuse what may be a dumb question, UPenn's website claims that they only offer a Ph.D in Religious Studies and not an M.A. or a terminal M.A. Does this mean that they do not accept students without an M.A./M.T.S./M.Div?
sacklunch Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 If it's not listed as a requirement then you can apply with just a BA. Although I'm sure most of their applicants will have graduate work already completed when applying. Email to ask about common applicants, ect.
LateAntique Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 U Penn awards an MA after comprehensive exams (http://www.sas.upenn.edu/religious_studies/stages.html). I imagine having an MA beforehand is the norm, like most programs.
