Hey Guys!

I just have a quick question about viewing the new score report. Forgive me if this has been discussed before.

I just took the GRE early this month and decided to try again with the new GRE in Sept. Based on the new score report format posted on ETS (http://www.ets.org/s/gre/pdf/examinee_score_report.pdf), the old scores will be converted to the new score format for comparison with the new score. But I guess people won't see the side-by-side comparison until Nov-ish when the new score report is out? My up-to-date score report is available online, but they are not translated to the new format.. So straight after people take the new GRE, they can only see a score without knowing their percentile and how much they have improved? Is their a formula available for old-new score conversion?

Thanks for helping me!!

Yes! They will need to collect data from tests taken between August and November before they have enough information to determine percentile. I also read on the site that they'll also be releasing a concordance table in November between the old and new scoring systems.
