George2248 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Hello I am taking the GRE revised in 2 weeks and I see that there is a lot of confusion regarding the grades range, new score system, percentiles, etc. Maybe we can post here the scores everyone is getting in practices tests (kaplan, princeton, Powerprepp, etc) and the scores range people are getting in the actual test when they take it. That way we can compare them and make a data base. There is a good post that predicts the percentiles for the new test that I recommend to see. My scores in practice so far are: 159 princeton, 750 - 800 PP. The other issue I have is that there is no summary of the requirements for top schools in Old scores and Percentiles, and maybe we can summarize them here. I needed the percentiles required to enter engineering in: -Berkeley -Columbia -Illinois -Duke -Cornell -USC Thank you for your time and help.
crater21 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Good idea. My practice scores so far have been: Kaplan: 720 - 800 (Q), 720 - 800 (V) Princeton: 157 (Q), 161 (V) I haven't done Powerprep yet.

I needed the percentiles required to enter engineering in: -Berkeley -Columbia -Illinois -Duke -Cornell -USC There are no percentiles "required" to enter engineering. High scores are best, but many other factors are considered, like GPA, recommendations, and statement of purpose.

I was talking about the average percentiles of people who are accepted to those programs, like the average scores on GRE
dntw8up Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 From your list I know that Duke publishes those percentiles.
dntw8up Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Duke publishes the information here: http://tinyurl.com/3wp3f7e
